This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which DORANomads collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the DORANomads website ("Site"). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by DORANomads.
Summary
During signup DORANomads collects
- your username - please refer to our Terms and Conditions regrding permitted usernames.
- your email address unless you are signing up via Apple, Facebook or Google in which case we use the information that you have permitted them to use for signup which may include an email address, please refer to their policies for information on this. This information is used for the signin process, it is not shared.
All other information is optional but we would recommend that you allow us to use your approximate location to provide localised maps, driving & walking directions and access to fellow nomads in your vicinty. Your precise location is not shared to anybody but if you choose to advise a fellow nomad via DORANomads chat then they and others in the same meet or chat will be able to see it. Meets disappear automatically from DORANomads after a few hours, chats do not.
You may enter or edit information about you via the Profile option in the menu, this is used to provide high level information so that for example other nomads can see people from their home town. This information is optional and should not be used to enter items that will offend or violate the rights of someone, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
You may remove the information we have about you at any time by clicking the Delete Account button in your profile.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, phone number, etc. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilised and other similar information.
